


What is AS?

Associated Students (AS) is the primary advocate for students at California State University, Northridge and provides excellent, meaningful programs and services designed to enhance and create a spirited learning-focused campus environment. We carry out this mission through the following departments: Student Leadership, Outdoor Adventures, Productions, Sport Clubs, Sustainability, Ticket Office, and the Children's Center.

AS Student Leadership represents the CSUN student body! They advocate and defend your needs and interests as a student to campus faculty, administrators, and government officials!
Senate meetings are held every Monday at 9 AM and all students are welcome to attend and share their feedback, concerns, and experiences. Click below for more information on how AS Leadership serves you!

AS Productions brings the Matador spirit to life! From concerts, music festivals and cultural events to farmers markets, lectures and social media shows, we aim to bring quality events exclusively to CSUN Students. We provide students with memorable and iconic opportunities to make the most of their college experience here at CSUN. Ticket Office

The Ticket Office offers ticketing services for nearly all campus events, from athletics and comedy to theater, music, and more. Discounted tickets to local movie theaters and theme parks are also available. Also, the Ticket Office sells transit passes for Metro and the Antelope Valley Transit Authority (AVTA). Outdoor Adventures

Outdoor Adventures (OA) provides unique outdoor recreational opportunities to the CSUN community. From Adventure Trips, RIDGE Rockwall, Outdoor rental center, Matador bike shop to Team Building programs, workshops/clinics, Outdoor Leadership Program, and Camp Matador. Sport Clubs

The Sport Clubs program provides CSUN students an opportunity to participate in regionally and nationally competitive sports and recreational activities. The program is designed to allow each CSUN student a chance to participate in a sports club individually or as a member of a team. Sustainability supports and participates in various sustainability projects such as the award winning Sustainable Office Program, America Recycles Day: Race to Zero Waste, Matador Exchange, Swap and Pop, Trash Talkers, and hosting other educational events. The Children’s Center provides high quality, age and developmentally appropriate and inclusive school readiness services for children between the ages of 18 months and 5 years [toddler, preschool, pre-kindergarten].They serve both CSUN families and the surrounding community.
