Venue Bag Policy
-
All bags must be a small clutch bags no larger than 4.5 x 6.5 inches and must be transparent to allow attendees to carry their wallets, phones, keys, etc.

All bags will be subject to search by CSC upon entrance to the event.

No contraband allowed.
What Can’t I Bring into the Event?

No professional recording equipment of any kind [Unless pre-approved by AS and have an authorized PRESS PASS]

No detachable lenses

No tripods
-
No big zooms or commercial use rigs

No large video cameras

No selfie sticks
-
No full face masks

No totems
-
No piñatas

No pets

No laser pointers

No pacifiers or dust masks

No water bottles, glass bottles or coolers

No markers, pens or spray paint

No weapons of any kind (includes pocketknives, pepper spray, fireworks, firearms, etc.)

How old do I have to be to attend?
-
Students must be 17 or older to attend (with proof of enrollment).

Guests must be 18 or older to attend.

What Time is Big Show?
-
Gates will open at 2:00pm and the concert will end by 7:00pm.
Where Can I Enter Big Show?
-
There will be TWO entrances, both are located south of the University Library on Sierra Lawn South. One by Live Oak Hall, the other next to Sierra Hall.
Do I need a ticket to enter Big Show?
-
Yes, you need a physical or digital ticket to enter Big Show. Digital tickets must be presented on a mobile device e.g. a smart phone.
Can I buy a ticket day of the show?
-
Tickets day-of will cost $15 and can be purchased at the AS Ticket Office in the USU or online.
Do I need my current Student/Faculty/Staff CSUN ID to enter Big Show?
-
If you bought a ticket, you must prove you are a current Student/Faculty/Staff by showing your CSUN ID, or logging into your CSUN portal, or by logging into the SRC app and showing your barcode at the gate in order to enter. (Unless you have a guest ticket.)
What if I don't bring my current Student/Faculty/Staff CSUN ID and I have a ticket?

You will not be allowed in if you cannot prove you're a current CSUN Student/Faculty/Staff. (Unless you have a guest ticket.)
How much are Big Show Tickets?
-
Tickets for Alumni, Staff, Faculty cost $15.
-
Tickets for Guests cost $15.
-
Tickets for Students, Alumni, Staff, Faculty, & their Guests at the door will cost $15.

Student Tier Pricing:

Tier 1 - $5 (While Available)​

Tier 2 - $10 (While Available)

Tier 3 - $15 (At the door)

Are group Big Show Tickets available?
-
Yes, students may purchase discounted group tickets to Big Show.
-
A minimum of 10 students are needed to receive the group rate discount.
-
One member of your group must send all of the group's CSUN email addresses to the show manager (James.forrester@csun.edu) for approval and to receive details on how to purchase the discounted tickets.
-
This discount does not apply to Alumni, Staff, Faculty, or Guests.
-
Alumni, Staff, Faculty, or Guests do not contribute to the group of 10.
-
Guest tickets may still be purchased at their standard $15 price in addition to the 10+ student group discounted tickets.

What do I do if I am having trouble with the online ticketing system?

For all online ticketing issues (link not working, unable to log in, etc), visit the AS Ticket Office in person located in the USU.

How many Guest tickets can I buy?
-
One guest tickets may be purchased per a student.
-
One guest ticket may be purchased per an alumni, staff, or faculty member.
Once I enter the venue and leave, will I be able to re-enter the venue?
-
No, in’s and out’s will not be allowed. Once you are inside you have to stay until you are ready to leave.
Where do I park?
-
All students may park in any of the student parking lots with a valid CSUN parking permit.

Single day parking passes are available at parking kiosks for $10.45.
What if I lose something or find something at Big Show?
-
After the concert, CSUN Police Services will have all the lost items for you to retrieve.

Will interpreting services be provided at Big Show?
-
Yes, ASL interpreters will be provided at Big Show. ASL interpreters will stand on the right side of the stage facing the audience to provide free ASL interpreting services.
